The Artisan Romany, also known as the Chamonix, is a pool dining table with carved legs and an automatic ball return. It is made entirely in the UK, in our Accrington workshop, by time-served ex Riley craftsmen, the same people who made Ronnie O'Sullivan's home match table. It comes in 6ft, 7ft and 8ft sizes in solid oak or walnut.
How it is made
The curved legs, sides, ends and cushion surround are all solid oak, and the two or three piece dining top is in matching oak veneer. The bed is a one-piece 18mm solid slate. Northern rubbers are fitted to the cushions, and both the cushions and the bed are covered in Hainsworth Smart wool napped cloth in the colour of your choice.
The ball return has just been through a full internal redesign. A new fabricated metal ball return is fixed securely to the inside of the solid oak or walnut cabinet, which gives the table a very rigid structure. The balls are collected in a drop-down tray at one end. This design can also be built into any other pool table on this site for an extra charge.
Finishes
The table can be finished in natural oak or walnut, or in the Chambord shade shown in the photographs. Whichever you choose, it gets four coats of clear satin polish for a rich, durable lustre.
Sizes and room
Leg room from the floor to the underside of the table is 25 inches, and the table stands 32¼ inches high including the dining top.

What comes with it
Every table comes with everything two people need for a game of pool. It can also be marked out for snooker, with a set of Aramith snooker balls, scoreboard and triangle, and shorter cues are available as an extra.
