The Artisan-made Balmoral is a free play pool table with a ball return system, built to English pool specification. It gives you proper playing conditions on a genuine slate bed while keeping the style and looks you want in a home.
We are not a high volume manufacturer. Most of our tables are made to the customer's own instructions, and every Balmoral is hand built from the best materials available in Accrington by ex-Riley employees.
How it is made
The bed is a one-piece 18mm solid slate. Northern cushion rubbers give excellent ball response, and both cushions and bed are covered in Hainsworth Smart wool napped cloth in the colour of your choice. It is the same cloth used on full-size snooker tables.
The legs and cushion surround are solid oak, with a matching hardwood veneered cabinet. You can choose turned or square profile legs. The example pictured is finished in dark walnut. Professional pocket liners, a free play ball return and adjustable feet for guaranteed level play complete the table.
