Allied Billiards made this full-size Sovereign in the mid-1980s at their works on Burnley Road, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington. It is now back in Accrington, stored in its component parts in our workshop and ready for the full refurbishment treatment.
It is a heavily built table. The frame and cushions are over-engineered to a high standard, and it sits on eight turned solid mahogany legs.
The table
The legs are solid mahogany, turned, on a substantial solid mahogany frame. The bed is a five-piece 1¾ inch Italian solid slate. Once refurbished it will play as new.
The refurbishment
All the woodwork is stripped back to the bare wood and any imperfections repaired before the complete table is re-polished back to its original state. If you would prefer a darker mahogany, we can finish it that way during the refurbishment.
