This full-size Allied Billiards Consort was made in Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington. It is built entirely in solid mahogany and sits on eight square-profile solid mahogany legs, with a five-piece 1¾ inch Italian slate bed.
It is a very well made table from the days before MDF, and will give a lifetime of performance.
The table
The Consort is a heavy, straightforward design: eight square-profile legs in solid mahogany carrying a solid mahogany frame and a five-piece 1¾ inch Italian slate bed. Northern cushion rubbers are fitted.
The refurbishment
All woodwork is stripped back to the bare wood, any imperfections are repaired and the complete table is re-polished back to its original state. This table is finished in a dark mahogany.
New pocket leathers and nets are fitted, and the cushions and bed are recovered in Hainsworth Smart wool napped cloth in the colour of your choice.
The second photograph shows a Consort we refurbished around a year ago. This table will be finished to the same standard.
