The 12ft Riley Imperial is a solidly designed table that has stood the test of time. This one is solid oak throughout, with eight square chamfered solid oak legs, a solid oak frame and a five-piece 1¾ inch Italian slate bed.
The first photograph shows one we refurbished a few months earlier, finished in light oak. The third is an Imperial being built at the Riley factory in Accrington, courtesy of one of our ex-Riley employees.
The refurbishment
This table was sold with our full refurbishment. All exterior facing woodwork is stripped and sanded, any imperfections are repaired, and the whole table is polished to as-new condition. The buyer chooses a light, mid or dark shade of oak.
