A 12ft Riley Imperial snooker table in solid oak. This is a great example of a solidly designed Riley table that has stood the test of time. It stands on eight solid oak square and chamfered legs with a solid oak frame, and carries a five-piece 2 inch Welsh slate bed. Welsh slate is renowned as the best slate in the world. This table has now been sold.
The first picture shows one we refurbished a few years ago, finished in light oak. The second is an actual Riley Imperial being made at the Riley factory in Accrington, courtesy of one of our ex-Riley employees.
The refurbishment
The table was sold with our full refurbishment, carried out in Accrington by ex-Riley employees. All the exterior-facing woodwork was stripped and sanded, any imperfections repaired and the whole table polished into as-new condition.
