This full-size steel block Riley Aristocrat was manufactured at Dale Street, Accrington, in the 1980s. It came back to the very same personnel who made it in the first place, and was installed once again by time-served Riley fitters.
The turned legs and frame are solid Brazilian mahogany, on a five-piece 1¾ inch Italian slate bed. It was offered complete with match cloth and a full set of accessories for two players.
The refurbishment
All woodwork is stripped back to the bare wood and any imperfections repaired. The table can then be finished in a choice of dark mahogany or in tournament match colours.
The pockets get new nets, leathers and ball runners. Cushions and bed cloth are covered in Hainsworth Match cloth.
Delivery and installation is by Sovereign Snooker Services, who are ex-Riley fitters.
