An antique 5ft E.J Riley of Accrington refectory snooker dining table in solid English oak, made around 1910. The photograph shows the actual table. A solid brass rise and fall mechanism takes it from dining height to playing height, and the four-piece solid oak table top covers the bed when it is not in play.
The outside dimensions are 67½ by 38 inches.
The refurbishment
The bed is precision-ground one-piece ½ inch Welsh slate. New cushion rubbers are fitted, new pockets, leathers and nets go on, and the table is covered in brand new Hainsworth Smart 100% wool napped cloth in traditional green.
