This antique 5ft E.J Riley of Accrington snooker dining table was made circa 1930s in solid English oak, with cabriole legs. A solid brass rise and fall mechanism takes it from dining height to playing height, and a four-piece solid oak top turns it into a dining table.
The photographs were taken in our workshop before delivery of the last table of this model we refurbished.
The table
The bed is a single piece of precision-ground Welsh slate, ½ inch thick. Northern cushion rubbers are fitted and the cloth is 100 per cent pure wool.
