An antique 6ft E.J Riley of Accrington snooker dining table with ball and claw legs, made in the 1920s from solid African mahogany. A solid brass rise and fall mechanism takes it from dining height to playing height, and the four-piece solid mahogany top covers the bed for dining.
The main photograph was taken in our workshop before delivery of the last table of this model we refurbished.
The refurbishment
The table was fully refurbished: all woodwork stripped and sanded, any imperfections repaired and the table finished in a rich dark mahogany satin polish, as the original factory finish. The bed is precision-ground one-piece ½ inch Welsh slate.
