This is a beautiful antique snooker dining table, made in the 1930s by E.J Riley of Accrington in solid walnut. The photograph shows the end profile of the actual table.
It has a four-piece solid walnut dining top and a solid brass rise and fall mechanism that takes the table from dining height to playing height.
The table
The bed is a precision-ground one-piece ½ inch Welsh slate. Northern cushion rubbers are fitted, and the cloth is brand new West of England wool napped cloth, 100 per cent pure wool. The pockets have new leathers and nets.
Outside dimensions are 78 by 42 inches, with an inside playing area of 69 by 33 inches. Playing height is 32½ inches and dining height 29½ inches.
Like all our tables, it was refurbished in Accrington by ex-Riley employees.
