An antique 6ft snooker dining table by E.J Riley, made in Accrington in the 1930s from solid oak, with barley twist legs. It came with a very nice four-piece solid oak top and a brass rise and fall mechanism for switching between playing and dining height. This table has now been sold.
The playing area is 69 x 33 inches on a 72 x 36 inch slate, with an overall size of 77 x 41 inches.
The refurbishment
The table was sold with our full refurbishment, carried out in Accrington by ex-E.J Riley employees. All the woodwork was stripped back to the bare wood, any imperfections repaired and the complete table re-polished back to its original state. Refurbishment usually takes between three and five weeks from an order being placed to installation.
